Stillwater Kilts
Hey everyone, I have a quick question...Have any of you tried to order from stillwater kilts, I have sent them 4 emails in the last two weeks. I have had no response what so ever?
Is this what Im to expect with doing business with them.....if it is I will buy my kilt some place else.

Dyfed,
I think this is contrary to my experience at SW. Jerry is usually very willing to help his customers, and most orders or complaints are taken care of very speedily. Please let us know the conclusion of your problems.

Stillwater service
I just received my Stillwater Heavyweight Kilt about a week ago. The whole transaction took less than 3 week. This length of time included my initial order, receiving the kilt and discovering I'd made an error in measurement, returning the first kilt and receiving one in the proper size. My e-mails were responded to in less than 24 hours, including one over a weekend. I haven't done enough business with them to know if this is typical, but they certainly made a good impression on me.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.

I ordered a Stillwater Kilt (a black heavyweight) on Friday. It arrived today. I had similar service with the nightstalker tartan standard from Stillwater a little while ago, recieved it within 3 days of ordering it.

I've ordered three kilts from Jerry. The first two arrived within 2-3 days.
The third took a bit longer (maybe 5 days?), but that was primarily because the software wasn't registering the shipping charge, so it wouldn't finish the transaction. Called him up and got it straightened out quick.

Sorry that your e-mail has been giving you problems:

Feel free to contact us using a different e-mail address. As mentioned on our website we usually respond to e-mails within one business day.
To answer your original question, it is $13 to ship a kilt to Canada, and can take anywhere from a week to a month due to Canada customs and postal delays. We no longer guarantee delivery times to Canada because of this.

That's a pretty professional response. I can confirm that you responded to my questions that same evening, i.e. after hours. Also, a reminder that you did ship to somebody in Canada in the last month and it seems to have been a pleasant transaction from their pm to me.
