I am impressed Robert. I figured on another couple weeks given the Christmas/New Years timing of the order. Cheers.

Well Sir, I seem to be in demand and prior to your order I received a number of orders. Having said that, I'm working in batches. I have a couple of leather kilts to build, some denim and then I will be on the hemp.

I just ordered an 8 yard 16 oz. kilt in a regional tartan of South Uist ( )today. It's a strange feeling, when I was waiting to get the money to order, I was ok. But now that I've ordered it I have this horrible feeling, like the kind a child gets a few days before Christmas, and all of his presents are waiting under the tree and he can't wait to rip into 'em but still he must wait. Except that my wait's going to take weeks. I'm not sure how long I can take this, I feel like I should've somehow been preparing myself mentally for this strange torture! GAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Sorry Dread, I am out of the jones club for now. The sporran belts from rkilts arrived safely yesterday. If I order that new kilt soon (there's a bit of a dilema, but I will start a new thread for that) than I will be right back in the jones club.
(Thanks again Robert, the belts are just perfect and I still can't believe how quickly you got them here with the holiday schedule and all. If I am anywhere near Stratford anytime soon, the beer is on me.)

I can't say it's really a jones, but I'm expecting a new kilt pin any day now. This one was a splurge for me at $25 bucks

It's by Don McKee of
http://scottishregalia.com/
I contacted him several months ago looking for pewter kilt pins and he scrounged up this demo version of his gold plated kilt pin. Now I'm just waiting on Stillwater to get those HW Leathernecks in.
