Hello kilted brother. My heart aches this evening for 4 yards of Lochcarron 16 oz. strome in the Henderson (weathered) sewn by master box-pleater Matt Newsome. To make things even more unbarable, I'm about 2.5 months into an anticipated 3 month wait! Woe is me.

Misery loves company.
I am going in with Dirkskene on an order here in 2 1/2 weeks. I am anxious to add to my kilts. I have 1 generic tartan kilt, and 2 "costume" kilts. {I got one of those ONLY because I wanted the shirt the lady was selling as a set} I am buying one of Caradocs 42" kilts, and should receive it soon. I have not worn the costume kilts sinc obtaining the generic kilt. I also have 5 meters of Fraser hunting in fine scottish wool. One day, I will pay the $250.00 to have a kilt made of it. I am also trying to talk the little woman into letting me buy a Fraser and Fraser Hunting from USAK.

Dread and Brad I can sympathise with you both but my Jones is over. Well until I get either kilt number 2 or more likely a kilt shirt from Freedom Kilts.

Just go through the various threads and get some ideas about what's next, or what accessories that you would like to have. Put your mind to getting accessories and it'll make it better!

Why does it have to hurt so bad? I hate waiting. This is worse than waiting for an official Red Rider BB Gun with the compass in the stock or for some silly Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Ring in the mail.

Eagerly awaiting my Teviotdale 16 oz 8 yard. I've been promised it in time for the Dumfries Burns Supper.

Like Brad, I'm in the queue for a Matt Newsome box pleat in a 13 oz MacDonald of Glencoe, but I'm only in week 5 or 6 of a 12 week wait. Good things come to those who wait. (Patience my a** ) I'm OK now.....
