The Arkansas Scottish Festival celebrates Lyon's Presbyterian and Scottish roots. "Kilted" Golf Tournament Friday. Festival gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The opening ceremony features the Parade of Clans and Bands at 1 p.m. Saturday. Festival highlights include competitions for pipe bands, individual bagpipers, drummer, Highland dancers and Scottish athletics, sheepdog demonstrations, Scottish food, music, Ozark crafts, traditional Fest and Ceilidh Saturday night, and the Iona Scottish Worship Service Sunday morning. Call for or ticket or vendor information.
Admission: TBA
(in the past its always been $5 a day if they go up don't hold it against me)

Yeah thats 3 of us, Dirkskene said he was coming way back when he joined. I was posting it for ya'll as I think we the only ones somewhat close to it. I've been to it for the past 3 years and this one will be my first to be kilted and I can't wait. I'll prolly be in a black dickies workshirt, my baird modern kilt and hopefully wearing my x-marks kiltpin if it ever gets here. My buddy is gonna be his brodie tartan.
I would love to come to your Burns night but I can't take off work any till after march, aint it grand to be "needed" We had to work saturday just so we could be off monday.

Chris, you could always go to work for Diebold.We always need more people.
