Tamnavulin... aye a guid yin... means "Mill Oan The Hill".. it is from the Glen of the River Livet... the distillery has been "mothballed" since 1996.... (Jim Beam bought it and mothballed it) which means they arr no offically usin' it (often the mothballed ones arr used fur special batches) the maist memorable yin ai mind wuz a 24 year auld "Stillmon's Dram" of Tamnavulin... lemony, heather and slight juniper flavours ... if ai recall.... ai'm sure ai can pick some oop locally here...
