Oakville Kilt Night

We ended up at another venue down the road. The live act was not conducive to talking. We are looking forward meeting again. Hunting McLeod will be performing in Georgetown on January 25th. I will post more details as I get them. We can try to get another kilted contingent going then.

We had a good turnout - five non-conformists in a sea of blue jeaned unenlightened people.

It was great to meet you folks. It was enjoyable to get to know a little about you.

I plan to attend the Hunting Mcloud gig on the 25th - see you there I hope.

I would say that the Oakville Kilt Night was a success! The change of venue helped the conversation considerably. (This is not a slight on the Moonshine Cafe... on a non show night, it would be a good place to socialize.)
It was great to meet the four other guys from XMarks that made it out. I hope in future to be able to make it to more events like this.
I would like to raise a pint (and a small bowl of curry sauce) to Uncle Ricky for organizing this!

My frst night out kilted. Not used to having no pockets so I couldn't figure out where to shove a camera... 'tis all my fault that there aren't any pictures! Just imagine 5 dapper kilties out and about with jaws dropping everywhere from the admiring public.

I'll be in Florida from January 27 till February 3, then cruisin' the Caribbean till February 13. If there are any other kilt nights planned after that, I'll certainly try to make them. Also, I'll remember to bring my camera for posting. I'm planning on wearing a kilt during my travel to Florida and for most of my shore time while on vacation (when clothes are required). I'll be sure to have photos taken of me throughout the 17 day trip, when I'm wearing clothes.

I have made myself wraps, so while I'll be unbifurcated 100% of the time, while textiled, I'm not always in a kilt.
