Surprisingly, I was also thinking that it would take somebody very secure to wear a kilt in this tartan, but it is very nice, and I have been known to wear a pink Izod, which was very taboo for a male (and still is in some locations), so maybe I will make myself one as well. I have enough to make a 4-5 yard for myself and I both with enough left over to make one for each of my daughters. Although, matching t-shirts is one thing I am not sure my wife would want me to be out wearing a kilt in this tartan...

What about a skirt for her that matches the ones for the girls. Thereby, they all have something to wear as you are kilted!

Hmmm. Though I've been known to wear a bit of pink now and again. I'm just not feeling the pink "tartan."

    ^^^That's a nice looking tartan, Robin. ^^^^

As for the Clan MacBarbie Hunting? Um, no, but good on the brave lad or lass that dons it.

Actually, it really would make a nice little girls kilted skirt, wouldn't it?

Alright Robin! Nice kilt, the touch of pink is a good combination with the green.

As for the "pink" tartan at the top, I'd say it would look adorable on a little girl.

I'm brave enough to wear that as a kilt... I'd even strole through downtown Greenville.
DreadBelly, I've seen your picture hon. You could walk down through the middle of main street wearing a fuzzy bunny costume and not one person would dare say a word against your choice in attire. LOL

    I wish!

People start trouble with me all the bloody time. Usually from the safety of a car. My wife and I both get a healthy dose of discrimination almost daily.

I no longer start trouble back though since dedicating my self to being a pacifist.

I can't change their perceptions or their views. Nothing I could do could change how people feel about me, how I look, and how I dress. Because of this, I could wear a bright pink tartan. There is freedom in being an outsider. People couldn't possibly think any less of you.
