I certainly wasn't camping it up .. I was just telling them exactly what I thought of them. I'm sure they got the message. Elaine and the others were to busy talking between themselves to even have noticed. I mentioned it to them, but they are never interested in tales of about my Cilt... to them, they know I wear my Cilt as often or whenever I want too. Its no big deal.
They always leave me to fend for myself
Just like the other weekend when they all took off from the pub to catch the bus leaving me debating with those chopsie retired guys.
What are friends for I say ...

This reminded me of something kind of unrelated. I haven't had too many 'bad experiences' wearing the kilt. Not any where my wife has had the oppurtunity or need to chime in. BUT, we were in a Chili's one night and this couple (about our age) were squeezing through the packed room. They passed us and apparently (I actually didn't see it) the guy made quite the production through facial expressions about my stretched ear lobes. I guess he wanted his lady to take a gander as well. She apparently was embarrassed and wouldn't look although he kept pointing and making faces behind me as I sat and ate. Nikki was watching all this and talking to me, not letting on to what was going on. Now, she is one of the NICEST people and almost a push over at times. But, I guess she had enough because in mid-sentence she pauses, sticks her hand up giving the most agressive "bird" and "F#$% OFF!" I've ever seen a lady produce. !!! I couldn't believe it. Stunned, I turned to see what she wash lashing at. THe guy (and gal) were red faced and headed for the door. Nikki had to fill me in after-the-fact.
