Everyone has heard about the snow we've received every week since the 20the of December. What you might not know is that there was one small storm the week before that. I'll be posting a few pics I took in Rocky Mountain National Park, right outside of where the Long's Peak Highland Games are held in September. This is a tree that my mom claimed as "hers" about 20-30 years ago. She is 83 now and still enjoys going into the park to see it as often as she can. More to follow.

One of the small pools in the stream we were snowshoeing next to.
A tree leaning over the stream we were snowshoeing next to.
I think I like your mom's tree best. Maybe because it reminds me of a bonsai I used to have. Very pretty snow pix.
Majestically Beautiful! I envy you your scenery.
great pics! Tell your mom she has great taste in trees!
Very picturesque.
Where were you snowshoeing, Livingston? That looks a little like the Spruce Lake area, but I don't doubt I'm way off-I only get up to the Park 6 or 7 times a year, when I've got a chance to catch a few trout (my Avatar photo was taken near Ypsilon Lake). Bryan...no I don't ice fish...

Bryan...no I don't ice fish... Drove to the end of the of the road past the Cub Lake trail head. They have it blocked off at the first parking area so had to trek in past the actual end of the road. The first pic is between Cub Lake and the parking area and the others are on up the trail. BTW, missed you at the kilt night the 13th.
Thanks for the compliments guys....I usually don't get the chance to show any of these pics off.
