SWK USMC Standard KILT
Just to be fair since I have made a few orders from USAK for their Semi-Trad KILTS. I ordered a SWK standard in USMC Tartan with belt, buckle and matching flashes. Anybody already have one? Will post my review and pictures as soon as I get it. CR66

I'll be anxious to see it when it arrives. I got the cheaper one, and it looks really good, but I don't really care for the PV, so I should have waited. It'll serve its purpose of letting me try out the tartan, though.
I am anxiously awaiting the availability of the heavy wool models they are teasing us with.

I'd sure like to see images of the two HW models where the pleats are clearly visible to compare the Box Pleat to the knife pleat.

That exact picture, showing both types, has been on the SWK website for months.

I've seen that one and it is a very good picture. I was hoping to see a rear view of both while hanging on the manikin (ala Matt's example here. not that the gent's in this photo look like manikins)

GOOD DAY Got my new Leatherneck SWK nearlly two weeks ago, wore it in public for the first time to a local sports and boat show. Got only positive comments, some people were a little surprised that it was called USMC Leatherneck, most just assume that all tartans are clan tartans I guess. One guy told me he is of a clan but didn't know of the clan "Leatherneck". I set him stright about the various tartans ie nationals, districs, even a few U.S. states. Anyway the kilt looks sharp, I think my graddad ( USMC Ret.) would be proud.
THANKS Wes
