New member from Ohio
I just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm a new member who lives near Toledo, Ohio. Rygar a friend and member here, recommeded this site to me. I have become increasingly interested in my Scotch Irish heritage. At the present time I do not have a kilt. I hope to have one in the near future.
Here is a little about me. I am originally from southern Ohio. Rygar and I have been friends since our days in college twenty years ago. I am currently in the slow process of relocating back to southern Ohio.
I have too many hobbies and interests to go into all of them. I enjoy many outdoors pursuits. Some I enjoy the most are hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. I also enjoy homebrewing. I am a big fan of Stouts, and Scottish/Scotch Ales. I am also intersted in getting into Mead and Wine making. One of my other interests is motorcycle riding. I recently got my motorcycle license and bought a 2004 Honda Sabre 1100. I can see myself on a big touring bike as I get older.

Welcome to the addiction from Snellville Georgia
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Welcome, bro my father grew up in Toledo, and I'm just right down the road from ya (Lima to be exact). I rode bikes for 15 yrs and decided to retire from riding last year. My last bike was a "03 Honda Retro (great bike) and wanted to devote more of my time to golf, school, and of course Scottish/ Irish festivals which btw you'll be able to find me at the Toledo Irish festival every July (kilted too). Well hope to see ya back here. Josh
