I need socks!!
Ok, hose actually.
For my wedding in May the grooms party is all going to be kilted, and I need some kilt hose at a good price.
The kilts will be the Leatherneck tartan, and the shirts will be khaki. I was thinking something like a stone or oatmeal, but I am interested in opinions. Do you think white would look good with that color combo?
I need hose at a low price, most wont ever be worn again. It would be nice if they were easily available online, so I can direct people to purchase them on their own.
Any ideas?

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Yesterday I ordered up six pair socks from Hamilton's; three cotton, three wool. Listed price (as seen on the above link) at 3 pair/$20. Order up a batch of 'em and distribute to the groomsmen?

Not really, I an lucky to get 3 months out of regular socks, however I'm wearing a pair of kilt hose right now that I bought in 2000. Socks usually $3-4 a pair, hose usually $15-20 pair what is the better value?

From Hamilton Dry Goods I'd go with their cream. Also, use the Cotton kilt socks as they are more fitted at the ankle to give a more fitted look. Don't worry though, on my 18" calves they stay very thick and don't even NEED flashes to keep them up.
And latter you can dye them to any color you want : (Cream dyed brown)
