I'm a wanna-be piper. I have had a chanter for years and am not too bad on it. Just have never made the leap to the real thing.
The sweater is from the "Sportsmans Guide". They have a lot of milatary surplus and you can find some really great deals. I have picked up quite a few things from them and have even turned a few around on ebay for a profit later on.

You can get some pretty nice military style sweaters that look really smart with a kilt here:
