Touch a truck... or Weathered Lamont browned out!

A few weekends ago we had an event called "Touch a Truck" in one of the smaller municipalities. It is an event where the bring in a bunch of large vehicles for the kids to see, touch, and climb around on. I wore my Weathered Lamont SWK HW "browned out". Enjoy!

    Before the event.

Part of the "train" line-dance around in front of the music stage:

    And on the stage itself:

    The girls on a Harley!

    Another Harley shot:

The chopper coming in for a landing:

    The chopper on the ground:

A video of the chopper landing. The black spots are not artifacts in the video (at least the original, not sure about the uploaded version), but leaves blowing in the rotor wash.

I think the only snow they get in Tampa is on the TV screen when the wind blows the dish around...

If it snows here, and sticks long enough for a picture, I need to move south and join GatorUK in the Keys! Hurricanes be damned, they are over in a few days or a week (cleanup may take longer), but cold enough for snow to stick means it has to be very cold here for many weeks at a time!

What no snow in Florida! Do you have room for a Canadian down there?

Wow, that's a nice kilt. I really like that tartan, it looks great in the outdoors. Looks like you had fun!

Your girls seem so happy sitting on the motorcycle. As the good father you are you should go out and buy one...err..for them. They will squeal with delight to know their kilted daddy has a Harley-Davidson. When Mrs. KCW asked what the -you are doing just refer her to this post (I'm on the other side of the country, how bad could it be).

    Cheers

Those new Harley Sportsters sure look nice. I bought my wife a brand-new Sportster as a wedding present back in '99, might be time to trade it in for a newer model...

    That was good.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
