Isn't there also a North Texas festival in earlier March , say 2,3,4th.

Not sure. Where would that be? Wichita Falls or something? (shivers) 
Midland is 1.5 hours from me. N. Texas is... well... much further.

It's in Dallas at Fair Park (which, unfortunately, is quite a bit farther for you -- but we'd love to meet you if you can swing a road trip!).

As much as I would love to, I'm working that weekend. But, perhaps a DFW kilt night sometime? The wife has some friends who live in Dallas she's been wanting to go see....
