It was great fun to work with Cloves and Cavscout behind the scenes and then have her present it to the Rabble. Cloves started the idea and Cavscout was kind enough to pass it on to me.
Since then I have made 3 more, shown in the attached pics

The first pic shows a brown model with a gold Fleur-de-lis that I gave to the wife of a friend. She is very involved with the Boy Scout movement and has the nickname of "Lady Fleur"
The black one I made for my wife. The third pic shows the size relative to a man's sporran. All are made with a magnetic catch.
The second pic shows a two tone model I made with a different catch, a strap and loop, suggested by Cavscout. He has it.
This weekend I'm going to work on a black sporran with a silver Irish Harp to wear with my green Heritage of Ireland kilt at the Post Commander's St. Pat's party on 15 March. I'm also going to make a matching Lady's model for my wife who has a green kilted skirt for the same night.
If anyone is interested in having one of these, send me a PM.
Special offer to the first two requesters $40 each, made to your requested color and design, including postage.
If you have an idea for a different style or cover flap carving, I'll give it a try!
Thanks to all for your kind comments and specially to the other DYI's for your inspirations and challenges on new ideas.

As a long-time scouter, I really love the one with the fleur-de-lis! REALLY nice work!
