One thing Rocky stresses. Do NOT use any fabric softener on them. It will, over time, remove the coating on the PV.

Three of my kilts have teflon coatings, just washed one as part of my normal laundry and had fabric conditioner in the wash before I read this warning!

Seems to be OK though, have hung it to dry naturally, none of these new-fanlged dryer thingies for me!

I have a wool brush for my wool kilts. I hang them up outside to freshen them up and then brush them a little. When they get dirty a little woolite in the tub does it. All others get washed when they start to get a little funky or appear soiled. O'Neille
