When my kilt is soiled it is about time to wash. Cold water hang dry.

Talking with my kilt maker she recomends never dry cleaning my new wool one that is coming the chemicles do nasty things to the wool she says. instead she recomends hand washing and either hang dry or flat drying.

But if the kilt isn't to dirty she says brush it of and let the sun kill the rest of the funk.

Hmm.. interesting.. I havent washed my heavy wool kilt yet, but have been paranoid to do anything BUT dry clean it. It seems like a few people dont even bother washing them. Maybe Ill just let my kilt smell of, well, "me" :P
