Hmmmm. I'm up to 9 (mix of Trad and Modern) with one Maple Leaf (from CCK) on order. That'll make 10. The perfect place to stop...er

I have 3 with 1 on order. When that one arrives, I may sell my two Bear kilts and just keep the two wool ones. It's all quality for me. When I started out I tried to be part of the quanity group (I made a rushed choice or two I wouldn't make again) , but soon realized that buying 4 kilts that last a year each is still as (if not more) expensive than one or two kilts that will last a lifetime. I don't see myself owning more than 2-3 at a time again.

    Let's see.
2 Macneill casuals in the modern tartan
1 USA kilts modern Gordon (semi traditional)
1 Ancient Macneill tank (9 yard 16oz wool from Matt Newsome)
1 Stillwater standard in the Irish National tartan
1 Stillwater heavyweight in Black Shadow tartan
1 Stillwater economy in solid black
2 Sportkilts, (blackwatch and an old wheat tartan which is similar to the Stillwater Nightstalker tartan. That makes 9. I also have a Scottish kilts solid black that I misread the length measurements and ordered it too short. I don't really count that one though because it's hanging in my daughter's closet now.

Oh, so we're listing here? Here goes:
1 Black Watch Miniature DIY (PV material from House of Tartan, started life as a great kilt.)
1 Camo DIY (printed canvas material from Walmart)
1 generic tartan DIY (the Roadblock the cat kilt) (PV material from Denver Fabrics)
And my current project is a solid black kilt, bull denim from Denver Fabrics.

    OK, here goes

    1 black wool
    1 black cotton
2 thin black wool, one knife, one box-pleaed
    1 Warrior tartan PV
    1 Campbell of cawdor PV
    1 Cairn tartan PV
    1 Black Mount (shadow tartan)box-pleated
    1 green wool box-pleated

all of the above I made myself

    1 Irelands national USAK semi-traditional

1 Ramsay blue in the making

I once had a "Kingkilt" but even my first selfmade was worlds better, I didnīt even wear it in my flat anymore, so it went the way of all trash.....

As head of household, I consider all the kilts in our home as my own . So, with Panache's 8, Sinbad's 3, and the loud Macleod minis that are worn by myself and Xena (do those really count?), I own 13. Let's see if Panache wants to argue this point

    Be well,
