I ordered a pair of the dark yellow socks that arrived today. They had a sticker that said they were imperfects, a fact not made known in the company's advertisement. I tried them on and found that they do not spring back into shape, but stay baggy after they are taken off. The top has a single thread holding the knitting in place, so when it goes, the sock will unravel. I don't think they will last long. You get what you pay for...and sometimes less.

If you go back and look, you will see that the ad copy does indeed say "2nds."

I got mine as well - both colors. They are identical to the red pair I bought last year, and those have held up just fine; if they do become baggy, they'll tighten back up when you wash them (I would, however, handwash them). I'm not worried about them becoming baggy myself, as I only wear kilts casually, with sock pushed down - baggy is good.
