I'd like to make a Jacobite shirt out of a loud Hawaiian tropical print fabric.

I have had one for 10 years, I think I have worn it twice and probably not in the last 5 or 6 years. The only thing I actually like about them is that I found it to be cooler than modern cut shirt. Maybe we need an modernised version...they are comfortable.

I personally don't care much for them. I'm of the ren-faire mentality in regards to them as well.

However, two people I've seen pull of the jacobite shirt thing very well were P1M (for example, his wedding pictures) and Graham, with his denim jacobite shirt.

I think the denim jacobite shirt is the only one I've seen that made me consider buying one.

I like them. I don't own one, exactly, but I have something very similar that I wear quite frequently. If anybody wants to call it a costume or criticize me for wearing it they can, in the words of the esteemed Dreadbelly, "go sit on a thistle."

I like them, and wear them regularly when kilted - but think they look silly with trousers, though.
    Worn casually and very comfortable

Seems to be a bit too 'costumey' for me, as well.
