I think your right.
For some reason, I keep thinking of that identity theft commercial of the two older ladies and the voices of two kids talking about dirt bikes . . .
(For our international folks, it is probably just an American thing)

I did a search for the Loch Ness tartan through the usual mills and could not find that tartan. Which is probably for the best, as buying a yard of cloth from the larger mills would cost you more than what you probably paid for your kilt.
May I make a sugestion however. On Sportkilts website they offer Fly plaid in the Loch Ness tartan for about $30 USD. The amount of material in their Fly plaid should give you plenty for your sporran project.
