O.K., I'm going to pay for this later. I'm going to say that putting liquid dishsoap in the dishwasher is NOT the dumbest thing Panache has ever done. I'm not telling this story to humiliate him, I'm telling it because it's REALLY funny! I actually think he may have mentioned it already, but probably not in detail.
About a month ago, he was drinking a martini and spilled it on the keyboard of our computer. Now, this was not the stupid thing. After all, everyone is clumsy once in a while. In fact, if our computer was not a portable (with the motherboard
under the keyboard) this would not have been a big deal at all. Addict that he is, he was not willing to wait until the keyboard dried out on its own, noooo, he had to hurry the process. So, what did he do but try to
dry the keyboard with a blow dryer. THAT was the stupid thing. He actually melted the keyboard.
Suprisingly enough, the computer no longer worked!
Believe it or not, his dad took the computer home and allowed it to dry out, replaced the keyboard and it actually was undamaged. I joke about how the computer was wasted, then spent some time hung over, but after a reasonable time "drying out", is functioning just fine. At least he didn't try giving it coffee or a cold shower to sober it up!
