I steal my paper from work

Too funny . . . NOT.
Ordered the stuff just as described above, got the confirmation, was shipped the next day and left on my front steps IN THE POURING RAIN. Okay, I'm sure it was raining when it was dropped off but no plastic bag, no note saying "we wanted to drop off your case of printer paper but it raining" . . .Called UPS because I wanted to have a fight with SOMEONE but it turns out they didn't deliver the stuff.
Anyway, had the grandbaby all weekend so I couldn't follow through. Turns out the paper inside might be okay . . .
Still a great deal but like I said in my original post "felt like I did something bad", well I guess I got a little punished. LOL

Hmmm... I wonder if that was the standard for delivery?
Mine got dumped in a pile of sleet, rain, and melting snow on the front porch. (We had "confused" weather Friday.) The shipping box was of course kaput, one ream's wrapping paper got damp (but the paper was OK) - the rest were all OK.
I don't think I'd have been so lucky if my work hadn't shut down 3 hours early for the inclement weather - another 3 hours of soaking and there'd have been a bunch of damage.
But, all's well that ends well, and as I often say, "I'd rather be lucky than good."

Mine was left out in front of my apartment too, lucky for me it was in the 80's and dry. Not too sure on who delivered it, but if I was you, I'd complain. I'd think leaving it where it could be distroyed would be a violation of the shipping companies policy.
My father in law is notorious about complaining. He had requested printer ink to be delivered where he had to sign for it when it came, yet the shipping company left it next to the door of the apartment without a knock. So he waited a couple weeks, called and asked where his delivery was, and when told that it had been delivered, told the rep that he never received it, and it was to be a sign on delivery, who signed for it? Needless to say, he got another set free. And again, they left it by the door. He didn't complain that time.
I don't recommend doing that. I don't know, I have a conscience about things like that, lol...can't do it. But I do tend to call the companies on the rare occation that a problem does happen. Can't fix the problem if they don't know there is one. (you don't want to know the problems my co-workers and myself have had with Wachovia...until I gave up on the branch handling it, and took it to the headquarters. They solved it in 15 minutes, unlike the 6 weeks the branch had).
