Dang, seems I might have become the spokesman for bandannas.
I used to wear only baseball caps but now I have to wear a hardhat at work and I started wearing bandannas to keep my hair pulled back. It works rather well and kinda has become my trademark now. Seems everybody buys me odd ones when they come across them now. With the kilt I wear either a green, blue or black one. I'm still trying to find one that matches the red/purple stripes in it.

No one past college age should wear a bandana. They look ridiculous.

I'm glad I am in college right now... otherwise I might be offended or something!

Look what I found. An old picture of me wearing a "Dubh Rag". It was hotter than blazes after a Rugby day at the park. I was still in college when this was taken, it was my 18th year. O'Neille

I personally prefer berets, they look sharp and one can get a nice wool one for under $12. I have currently have a red, brown, and black one. I have a black glengarry with white and red dicing when I want to be dressy, and driving caps (tweed and tartan) for the rest of the time.

By strange coincidence I found this picture of me and my sister at Disneyland when I was at the same tender age...

I thought it went well with my olive green sportkilt with it's skull and crossbones kilt pin (before the F-H.C.A.G. stole it from me)

In that case I may have been mistaken in my exact decade of life when that photo was taken...

I'm afraid I have to agree with Bob. I've always hated them, and think they look stupid with kilts - and everything else!
I don't even think pirates really wore them....

Pretty well it for me too, you'd never catch me wearing one. That said, it's your head you can wear what you like, it's not my problem. But if you ask me what I think please don't get upset if I say it looks ridiculous.

That goes for me too, Al. I just hate headwear of any kind - always have. Fortunately the British climate is not one that demands that we baldies necessarily need to cover up in the summer but, on the rare occasions when it does, I gird up my loins, take the plunge and wear a 'Union Kilts' baseball cap! In spite of the legend it bears, "Union Kilts", I still believe I look absolutely ridiculous when wearing it, as I do when wearing any hat.
Someone is about to say, "Oh, but you wear the Balmoral." Yes, so I do, but as infrequently as possible and then only because it is part of the 'outfit' I happen to be wearing - I certainly do not wear it for comfort!
As for a bandana, well just don't push me .....................
