Question headwear, bandanas: do or don't

as you noticed in my pic maybe, I have MPB(male pāttern baldness) which in turn leads to me shaving my noggin' , which, in turn, can make sunburn a very painful thing if you aren't extra careful.

So in the past I occassionally wore a bandana (for that extra piraty look, arrr ), thereby covering my head. Now I find myself without bandana(can't for the life of me figure out where I put it :-/ ) and am contemplating wether I should buy another one. I don't want to make the kilt(ed gents) seem ridiculous.

What say you: yea or nay?

a bandanna isn't bad as long as it doesn't clash with your tartan.
SportKilt had some cool "noggin wraps" in tartan.

As another follically challenged person, I love wearing my balmoral - but in the middle of summer a wool hat is just too dang warm. I'd love a cooler alternative. I guess I'd better keep an eye on this thread.

I was actually wondering about that, wether it would be possible to get tartan bandanas.. I'd love a nightstalker one!

I wear a solid black bandanna with mine. There a few pics of me on here in it. I wish I could find some of my tartan in some thin material to make one out of.

I know a lady who wears mens kilts with a bandana almost daily. Personally I think kilt + bandana looks much better on a man. So long as you don't wear the bandana in the place of the kilt, like O'Neille's lady friend you should look fine.

Neo71665 posted this pic of himself in kilt and bandana back in January and I think you will agree this looks good.

The head wrap looks great with a kilt (so long as you don't clash too much with the tartan). I would (personally) steer away from the bright flames motif, but then, that's a matter for each to decide individually, isn't it?
