*Laughs* I was just about to post this myself. Was in a local Glasgow newspaper today complete with pictures of drunken kilted men exposing themselves.
It's a sad state of affairs, but I think they're right. Most people really don't need you to show them what's under your kilt.

I think the people who go around flashing people in their kilts are the people who are first-time kilt-wearers or rarely wear a kilt at all. They get excited by their new-found freedom, comfortability, fashion sense, and symbol of heritage, and just can't control themselves!
...some people just can't handle the kilt.

The whole thought of "frost bite" scares me a bit for the fear of where the frost bite would be.

They gonna outlaw college students, sailors, Marines, and loose women? It's amazing what some college girls will do for Mardi Gras beads!
Why not brand a whole class of folks because a small group acts up!
I prefer to punish the evil doers. Kind of reminds me of the sort of rules that get written across the board just because of one instance.

As others have suggested, these were probably guys who had never worn a kilt before. Its just a shame that they can't have the self respect to wear it decently.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

Unfortunately, the guys in the newspaper were, at least.
It's just the usual idiots the same as you get on drunken stag nights in Glasgow city-centre exposing themselves.
A couple of machismo idiots shouldn't represent all kilt-wearers, but I do sympathise with the Polish authorities who have had to deal with a spate of idiots in kilts, Scottish or no.
They deserve the same punishment as anyone doing the same thing.
Let's hope they find a way to stop it without having to ban kilts.

I was going to suggest that these guys are retards, but metally retarded people are generally pleasant and well-behaved. These guys are stupid jerks and a night in the local jail might discourage such behavior.

Kelly brought this up...
Maybe we should send this article to the rude "visit scotland" guy (who P1M and others encountered at their Burns supper trip) who said that "the only people to wear kilts are 'loudmouthed Americans'". While this behavior should be FIRMLY discouraged no matter WHAT the ethnicity of the offenders, it should be noted that not all stereotypes are accurate. Even ones about drunken Scot Flashers and loudmouthed Americans.

I dunno. There's a Japanese game show that has a device that would work nicely for punishing these miscreants...
Very painful to watch, possibly offensive to some, but no nudity...
