Welcome from NE Oklahoma. A long long time ago I was a part time farrier. I kind of miss those days.

I saw this photo at Utilikilt and thought you my be interested. It looks like a workman model that has been modified with snaps that holds a piece of leather the same size as the apron for that heavy duty lap work.
