kilted for years, new here.
Hey there . . .
Let's see, started off with Great kilts (I have 4) at the local RenFest back in 1995, started wearing UK's in about 2000. Now I am married to an Anderson and find that my own family (being predominantly Irish) had origins unioned with the Livingston clan in Scotland. Which plaid to get . . . decisions-decisions.
I am looking forward to gleaning more info on the newer casual kilt companies I have heard of lately.

Livingston(e) (Ancestral family allied with) -- Motto Se je puis (If I can)
Anderson (married into) -- Motto Stand Sure

Salutations ebs from sunny California.
I believe we have a couple of kilted blacksmiths and metalworkers here who will be happy to welcome another disciple of Hephaestus!
Cheers

Welcome to the neighborhood I hope to hear more about your blacksmithing. Too often we cannot find the things we want and need to make them ourselves or with the help of other members .

Welcome to the rabble! I would welcome you to the addiction as well, but it seems that you already are!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
