    Not really. Human-animal chimeras are not approved for consumption. They're used for experiments concerning organ transplants. If we can get a pig to grow a human liver, we'll never have a shortage again.

    GM organisms rated for consumption do not contain any DNA not present in the original animal. No harm in eating them at all.
