    Talking Let the Jonesing Begin!

Well, now I've really gone and done it! I went to see Robert MacDonald of West Coast Kilts today. I had hoped for a consultation to discuss the merits of a traditional kilt versus a 5 yard. Before I knew it, the measurements were taken, the tartan was chosen, the deposit was paid and the jones hit me! So now I await a 16 oz. MacGregor Modern, pleated to sett, from one of the premier kiltmakers in western Canada! But the best was the conversation that took place when I got home.

"So, did you order a kilt?"

    "Yeah, I did."

"How much is it going to be?"

"It will depend a bit on the material. Rob may have to order extra to fit me."

    "So what? $600.00?"

    "Around there."

    "OK."

I know I am one lucky guy! Expected delivery or rather HOPED for delivery is mid May. And YES, there will be a full review and pics.

OH BOY!OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY!

Your wife probably figures that it's probably cheaper than a mistress and definitely cheaper than golf.

Well done BM! Let the jonesing start for sure.

Way to go Mikey! Did you hit your head in Rob's office

Did you go for the 5 or the 8 yard kilt?

Not only did Rob's kilts look great, but he was a heck of a nice guy too.

By the way, Did you find out what Shelley's conversation with a certain Victoria based kiltmaker was about?

No, I managed to get out with my scalp intact.

In my haste to post the good news I, missed that fact. 8 YARD TANK!!

Yes, he is quite something. He took me around the house and talked about the ongoing renos.

No hint of what is going on between those two. I'll just be patient?!?
