I went after tight twisty mountain roads (High in the Cascade Mountains of Washington and the Pacific Coast highway) S curves, and any nightmarish corkscrew road that I had heard about. Leaning down around a curve with your handlebars 2 inches from the ground on a track is one thing... Doing the same on some mountain switchback is a whole different thrill ride. If the words "chicken strips" mean anything to you, you will know what I am talking about.
Funny... People sitting around talking about what they can add to their bikes... I was always concerned with what I could take OFF of my bike and still have it function. Strip every ounce off that you could. Make the bike just a little more nimble, a little more balanced, a little faster, any little thing to make it better.
Oh man I miss riding so much that it hurts. I don't think I could even hold up a bike no more because of my gimpy leg. I am not so sure I could even operate the shifter because of how my left foot is. That makes me sad. Really sad.
Hey Dread, if you had to put a number, any number, on a roadracer, namely a vintage 350 Honda roadracer, what would it be? ;)
