I have 2 FKs and I'm waiting on my first RK. I'd say go with whichever has a shorter lead time or flip a coin.

oddly enough i have a large amount of "Woodland" camo fabric
I'm currently using as a drape in the huge picture window in my bedroom.
there is a street light right outside,
it's too bright to sleep with the thin white blinds that came with the apartment.
so i wonder if a woodland camo kilt is in my future.
with my bad arm i don't think i could do this myself,
so i wonder if the fact i have the fabric might get me a deal somewhere.

Talk to MacHummel of CCK, He's a fellow SOKSer, very reasonable and has worked with the Woodland before.

I don't have an RK yet but I'm pretty happy with my FK tiger stripe camo kilt. Steve did a great job.

10 reason you should buy an FK.

    1. Robert is too nice a guy to post here and tout his own fine kilts.
    2. Robert makes a far too nice a kilt for the likes of you.
    3. Robert needs to make my Hemp kilt first.
    4. Robert is going to be too busy because I just spoke to a man who wants kilts for his store and I gave him Roberts phone no.
    5. Hemp? What's that? don't they make rope and sandbags from that?
    6. Even Graham has a Hemp kilt. Don't you want something no one else has?
    7. Robert's one of those polite Canadians and would probably not argue with you when you want "non-standard".
    8. Spring is coming and Robert probably wants to ride his motorcycle and not make kilts.
    9. Tomorrow is Saturday and Robert probably won't be home to take your order.
10.I beg and grovel better than Robert.

I've met him, he's not that nice
    2. Robert makes a far too nice a kilt for the likes of you.
Yeah true, but he might've forgotten who he'd be dealing with.
    3. Robert needs to make my Hemp kilt first.
There is more than enough Cannabis Sativa in B.C. to begin with.
    4. Robert is going to be too busy because I just spoke to a man who wants kilts for his store and I gave him Roberts phone no.
And you've just taken on a new job as movie star/director/producer. You have the time?
    5. Hemp? What's that? don't they make rope and sandbags from that?
Yep! It ties in well with my marine heritage don'tcha think? CCGA - Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
    6. Even Graham has a Hemp kilt. Don't you want something no one else has?
And nobody has a Freedom Kilt?
    7. Robert's one of those polite Canadians and would probably not argue with you when you want "non-standard".
No smart *** answer from me, Robert is "non-standard", no argument there.
    8. Spring is coming and Robert probably wants to ride his motorcycle and not make kilts.
At a buck a litre he needs my money.
    9. Tomorrow is Saturday and Robert probably won't be home to take your order.
Read my original post - I'm working a lot of overtime so I have extra money. Work Saturday morning, then work on getting rescue boat ready for Marine use such as splicing the hemp line and such.
10.I beg and grovel better than Robert.
And point out my spelling mistakes better than Robert too!

Hey Grant You have some thinking to do....I can though,
deal with #8 and #9 of Steve's wonderful top 10 list....
#8 Robert did the unthinkable and bought a pair of pants tonight so he can ride his motorcycle and has been out on it a few times already. (His only other pair finally wore out and are now used as cleaning rags for his beloved motorcycle)
#9 Robert will be working through the weekend to finish off some hemp kilts 'cause he promised Rocky he would start on his bronze leather kilt this coming week.

After Easter Robert will be picking up two new colours of hemp.

For the quicker turn around you might have to go to Freedom as I'm booked on a flight to Europe to hand deliver Ham's kilt and Robin's kilt.

However I might suggest you do a couple of more overtime shifts and get one from each of us.
Now I could be talked into hand delivering one to you, any excuse to twist the throttle and burn up some back road twisties....Avoid Canada post.

    Grant Having fun yet??
I think you will be happy with either an FK or RK
    pleasant dreams ......whahahahahaha

Now I'm leaning toward Steve as he doesn't own trousers! Then again I posted that one shouldn't ride kilted so I'll let you off. It's a 7 hour flight to England (Gatwick, my home town) and one hour train ride up to Paddington then an hour and a half to Arundel castle. Give Hamish his kilt (32 minutes, stay for tea), then reverse. That gives you 19 hours to hand sew my kilt. What's the problem?

Hey wait a second... 32 minutes for tea! What about the Kilt Kollection...going through some 80 kilts takes time!
