Aye Abax,
In six years with the agency I've seen a lot of people come and go. It is a good thing that when people don't fit management doesn't prolong the agony, fires the person, and tries again. Those that succeed are promoted and given new challenges.
This is the first time in six years I've seen such security. From talking with the CEO after and reading between the lines, I'm guessing such action was necessary for some reason I don't need to know.
The hope for the dress code is that the CEO has teased me early on about kilts, much as a coworker would, but he never suggested that they were unprofessional or said don't wear them.
Now that she is gone I'm hopeful its a dead issue. The true cause of the dress code talk in management was the sweatsuit/tracksuit, just out of the desert in jeans look employees. Just the talk of a dress code seems to have helped them spiff up a bit.
I've taken extra care too, to look dressy in my kilts and not get too casual or out on the edge with them.
