Semper fi, guys! (I've got mine!) Postlady just dropped it off, looks fabulous . . . of course! He he he he, didn't even expect it for another few weeks, what a great lift to a otherwise somewhat blah Saturday.

OK, I officially hate you. And not in a good way.
What do you say, guys? Do we whack him in the knees with a mattock handle and get it over with, or do we do it nice and slow...
Congratulations! But no pictures? What's up with that???

1/3 of the batch went out Thursday and 1/3 went out Friday. Celtic Ranger's 5 kilts and 1 Kilted Skirt went out today and I'm waiting on 1 more person's final measurements to send his out. That'll be the last of the "original batch".
In other words... they should be hitting your mailboxes early next week. Post some pics when you get them!

Was mine part of the original batch? Or do I have to wait a bit longer?

Anticipation is making me wait . . .

"Semper fi?" Hm ... that's kinda odd ... which branch of the service were you thinking of here?

These pictures should tide you over. (Cross-posted in Kilt Pics.)

Thanks, Rocky & Kelly. Superb job, and worth the wait.

Which branch? Well, I served in the Department of the Navy . . . the Men's Department, as they like to say! Served with some pretty sharp soldiers, I think the tartan's wicked cool and stunningly good looking, and I wanted to emphasize that whole "working together" thing (a la Red Mike Carlson and 'gung ho').
Plus, from reading either Manchester or "With the Old Breed at Peliliu" I picked up on a secondary meaning of "semper fi" from the Pacific campaigns: "I've got mine." As in, "Hey buddy, can I borrow a cigarette?" "Semper fi, mac."
Pics look great---and I think that's the first time I've ever seen your face!
