What was the Highest Rank in the Boy Scouts

I was wondering how many Eagles Scouts are out there. thank you for your time.

Did Scouting from the git go in Cub Scouts, but after making First Class switched over to the Navy League's Sea Cadets and met this Marine guy who was our commander....

Our little Sea Cadet group drilled with the Naval Reserve, got to ride ships from Portland, Oregon up the Columbia to Astoria...Scouts became "kid stuff" to us.

But today, in the long run, looking back as an olde guy; it was Scouting that taught me the hiking, camping, and survival skills that I still enjoy.

Never did the scouting thing. It would have been good. And I later found out you get a "free stripe" upon entry to the USAF if you were an Eagle Scout. Go figure... heh.

Made the equivalent of Life in the Boy Scouts of New Zealand, then lived vicariously as my two sons both made Eagle. As an adult leader did Wood Badge (SE489 Bobwhites).

I made eagle scout in 1993 in Orange County California. I was involved with Order of the Arrow, worked at the local BSA Sea Base for a few summers during college, went to the 89 and 93 Jamborees in VA., and Philmont in 1990. I haven't done anything Scout related in years. I would like to again some day.

Yup - from cub scouts to eagle - the whole nine yards. I loved scouting, it taught me many important skills and most important it taught me about myself.

Was a scout in my younger years. Was a huge inspiration for me, outdoor activities etc. my Troop was not big into advancement etc. too bad. we never produced eagle in the 4 years I was a member. But we had a blast. Went to the intl Jamboree in 73 as a first year scout. i was a bit too young to really take advantage of it, but what a great time....

I started as an unclassified cub scout and spent two miserable years being an unclassified cub scout and threw in the towel. The scouting program in my neighborhood was SO unbelievably disorganized that I'm amazed that they were even chartered by the Scouts. I was looking forward to doing some interesting and challenging things and spent two years playing softball and gluing macaroni to cigar boxes while the den mothers sat around on thier fat behinds drinking coffee and gossiping...that was it. No camping, no pine wood derby, no badges...no nothing. I was literally the only one that had anything approaching a complete uniform...most of the little bastards maybe had the t-shirt...this was because my mom worked downtown at that time and Marshall Fields had a complete scouting department in the boys clothing section.

I made Life and ran out of time with two required MBs left to get. I guess I had too many things going on at the time. Brotherhood member of the OA(the original WWW!), was a field sports counselor at the Scout Camp in Goshen, VA in 1987. Attended the 75th anniversary National Jubilee at Fort A.P. Hill. Loved the scouts, but I doubt I'll get back into it. Both my sons are pretty much grown and neither had any interest in scouting. I was in a couple very active troops who had private land on which we'd shoot, hunt, canoe, climb, and do lot's of other things without be bothered by anyone. Got my NAUI Open Water Diving classification at the High Adventure Sea Base in Islamorada, FL in '86.
