I worked a couple summers with 'scouting for the handicapped' as it was called at the time. One of the most rewarding things in which I've ever been involved. To make it even more challenging, the boys with whom we worked were from very urban inner city DC. So not only did they have the challenges with which they lived every day, they had never even seen a rural or wooded area in their lives.
