Welcome Ron Paul,
You're a LOT smarter than I was. I was a couple years into kilting before I bought my first USA Kilt. I thought all the praise was hype of some sort. Once I bought my first USA Kilt I bought a LOT more...now own 17 of them. 11 Casuals and six Semi Traditionals. If I had to do it all over I'd have gone with the semi-trads from the git go.
And, for what its worth, I also have a lot of tats, long hair, and work in a predominately female culture.
I'll bet as you wear your kilts to work you'll see the ladies start wearing more dresses and skirts...not sure why...just notice it happening.
Welcome to your new addiction, and enjoy the freedom!
