Fly plaid loop

Are yours fly plaids or piper's plaids? Piper's plaids generally don't have (or need) them.

I have one piper's plaid, and that definitely does not need a loop...it loops around me twice! My two fly plaids, on the other hand, don't have loops either, and they just hang from the shoulder (attached to the jacket with a brooch).
