Well perhaps to keep it out the pub how about saying Grace at Dinner.

I liked an old Royal Naval one:

    "Incoming food, Grace, Grace"

There's a toast made in the movie "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Mareene O'hara, I'm sure you all know the film. Does anybody own a copy of the movie, and can you post the toast here? (Oooo! that rhymes.) I remember that it was a great toast and I've been wanting to use it.

Are you thinking of the toast given by Hugh Forbes (you can quit the Commandant, we're at peace now man!) at Mary Kate and Sean's wedding?

Then, a toast: May their days be long and full of happiness; may their children be many and full of health; and may they live in peace and [national]*freedom.

*the word national was removed from the original script. PM me and I'll give you the reason why.
