The Chicago White Sox.
The Pale Hose.
Born on and continue to live on the Glorious South Side of Chicago...used to live within walking distance of Old Comiskey and I was one of the last people to get a tour of the park before it was demolished...I have a brick from the old Comiskey Park in a place of honor on my shelf of architectural fragments.
I was just at the game last Friday night when Jermaine Dye and (my favorite player) AJ Pierczynski hit back to back Home Runs. This is one of those teams that has a roster full of players with personality and holds a place in my heart with the '69 Cubs (yes...a SouthSider who loved the '69 Cubs). Win or lose it's great just to watch these guys play.
It's like Jean Shepherd said about Sox fans, "...if I was in one of those war movies where they told me to pick five guys to storm an enemy pillbox and it meant certain death...I'd pick five White Sox fans because these guys are used to facing certain death every day of their lives and it holds no terror for them."

GO BRAVES!!!!!!
(On a side note, I DO like seeing the pitchers ACTUALLY HAVE to HIT the ball too. The DH has, however, prolonged the careers of good hitters who lost their fielding and provided good pro careers for a few who could NAIL the ball, but couldn't catch a cold.)

I cheer for the Diamondbacks whenever i happen to see a game, but I don't get to watch tv very often anymore.

Braves fan.
Hey MacWage, remember;
Go Braves! and take the Falcons with you.
The times have certainly changed.
I miss the inlaws place at Mytle Beach, the Pelicans were a blast. Minor's are real baseball, no prima donnas to put up with. I also miss the Capital City Bombers in Columbia. Columbia's lost is Greenvilles gain.

I can actually remember going to see the Richmond team as a kid They were they were the Richmond Virginians back then, and were the Yankees AAA farm team. Remember Mel Stotlemeyer, I saw him pitch in Richmond. The highlight of the Virginians visits was seeing the comic umpire, Al shack umpire an exhibition, in which Satchel Page pitched. He must have been in his 60s or even 70s then, but "I got to see him".
