GO BRAVES!!!!!!
(On a side note, I DO like seeing the pitchers ACTUALLY HAVE to HIT the ball too. The DH has, however, prolonged the careers of good hitters who lost their fielding and provided good pro careers for a few who could NAIL the ball, but couldn't catch a cold.)

So, are there any baseball fans, and what are your teams???
I am an Atlanta Braves fan. I am an ATL native and pulled from them even when they were HORRIBLE. I once pulled for Bob Horner, one of the most under-rated infielders in baseball history. I also rooted for the Murph (Dale Murphy, ole number 3). The 1991 season was truly MAGICAL and felt VERY much like in the movie "Major League."
Anyone else?
I'm another Braves fan, but I have been a fan since the days of Warren Spahn, Hank Arron, Eddie Matthews, and Lew Burdette. Being near Richmond, I follow the Richmond Braves also, and have seen some current and former Braves come through AAA Richmond. This includes Chipper Jones and Ryan Klesco. I do have a favorite AL team also. That is Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, and anyone else playing the Yankees.

Hugh baseball fan, thinking mans game. I am and will always be a fan of the Big Red Machine. But I am more in to the minors now.
My daughter has attended about half of all our home games over the last 6 years. Great for a dad to spend time with his girls. Too bad Kim (my wife) doesn't like baseball, cause the kids want o do a tour of National League (read: real baseball) fields this summer.
The only down side to having good minor league play is trying to follow the kids up. Too many teams to keep up with now.
Oh, and baseball is why I went looking for a casual kilt and I think I have the best, thanks W2F!

I'm a huge tiggers fan from way back, even when they were absolutely horrible.
I love rocking my Trammell, Whitaker, Morris and Gibson jerseys out to the CoPa. Love the new team too of course, doing us proud!
Go Tigers!
(remember, that's a team in the American league, where they actually play baseball and leave the batting to the people who know how, no insta-outs!)
