Beaver Head and Feet
Hello, all I just have a quick question. I was given a Beaver head section of a pelt, and 2 feet. How should I go about making a sporran out of this?

Post pics and we can give better advice. Just a head and feet will require some imagination.

Too bad you didn't have the tail that you could hang at the back. That and a Bucannan tartan would look like a horrific accident!

I will post a picture as soon as I find my camera. I have had one idea which is, What about a pouch type sporran, with the mask over the lid, the feet as tassels, and the pouch made out of a brown leather which is complementary to the mask?

the tail hanging off the back would be pretty awesome, specially with the head as the flap

Some of the beavers I've seen were big enough that their tails would have made decent sized sporrans.
Without seeing the size of the pelt: mask as lid, feet as tassels, remainder of the pelt as front of sporran, and leather for the back and gusset.

I agree with Wompet, who agrees with your idea - a brown leather sporran, adorned with whatever pieces of the pelt you have. To me, that would be a mark of a true conservator of the natural environment and its resources.

My camera has been Missing for a while, I borrowed a camera to take a picture of the pelt.
It is about 18.5 to 19 inches long at the longest, and 8 inches long at the widest point.
