Kilted at 10,300 Feet
Here's a snap of me from last weekend, fresh off the chair lift and fixing to have lunch at Sunspot, The highest point in Winterpark Colorado.

The temp is about 28 degrees, but with the sun and dry thin air, after walking around a bit I wished I had brought a lighter coat!
The kilt went over great at Winter Park! On the Ski Train from Denver the conductor said he was pretty sure I was the first guy to wear a kilt on the train, but at the lodge on Sunspot the hostess said they had a bunch of guys in kilts come up there for scotch tastings and such. I had a great time, and got a lot of positive comments from all kinds of folks. And got a free beer at the base lodge My wife had fun just following me around and watching people's reactions!

Great shot!!
A friend was up at Winter Park, and when I saw him this morning he had to tell me that he saw a guy in a Kilt. I told him that he should have gone up to talk to you, however he didn't. So you did make an impression.

Great photo. I've seen people going kilted while walking up Ben Nevis or going up the cable car on Aonach Mor (one of the shoulder hills of the Nevis range) but you were more than twice as high as the summit of Ben Nevis.

Wow! Very impressive.
It seems that wearing a kilt guarentees fun experiences wherever you go.

Ahh, yes... but did you do a frontside 540 off the halfpipe while wearing that? Hmm?

Huh?
I know how to ski, used to go to Cloudcroft N.M. with a friend from Roswell every couple years. I would not hesitate to do it kilted. I've been tempted to try snowboarding the last couple times we went to Winterpark, but age, bad knees, and lack of decent health insurance put me off.
