    Scottish Kilts For Scottish Soldiers

Some great news, just read an article in a military news letter that new kilts for the Royal Regiment of Scotland will be made in Scotland, by Scottish companies, using Scottish materials.

Whew! That's ALOT o' tartan! My guess they are not going to by handsewn.
I am glad they got it worked out as well. The Scottish Regiment deserves true Scottish uniforms. I still can't get used to saying something like the "Scottish Regiment" instead of the "Scottish RegimentS". Ahhhh well! Time marches on.

Aye! Tartan made by a company with a good Scottish name! Robert Noble Ltd.

Noble was my Mother's last name.

    (That is Scottish, right?)

If certain votes and policies are shifted, you might not have to say that anymore. (STOP BEFORE SAY MORE) The unification of ALL the units ino one is one of the BIGGEST shames of the 20th/21st century. (I rank it above the "dis-establishment" of very old, VERY RICH naval aviation units, which is a BIG deal for me.) I just HOPE the come BACK to their senses and make them separate units once again!!!

I'm just glad the tartan and kilts will be SCOT kilts!
