Kilt Hose Pattern

I also like the cuff you created and the hose look professionally made. How wide is it? Not sure if it is the camera angle, but they look like they could be a little wider, but I personally like beefy cuffs on my kilt hose.

Thanks for the nice comment. The cufs are the same width, well give or take half an inch as the leg. As these Kilt hose will go to Ceildhs, Weddings and the like I made them rather snug so the flashes would have such a hard job keeping them up. No, seriously, that is the way the recipient asked for them. Making them a bit looser would be easy enough though. :-D

I have knitted the hose that timber linked to on page 1. Came out very nice. Let me know if anyone attempts this pattern. Think Ii remember a few typos in pattern.

Sorry this is late. I picked them up from my Mum on Canada Day. Yes, I did wear them Canada Day with my Maple Leaf tartan kilt, but sorry I have no pictures. But I did borrow my neighbours camera to get a few shots of the hose. Man it's hard to take a good picture of your own leg!!

My Mum used a patteren of her own for the cuff. (Oddly enough it kind of looks like the Lewis Hose cuff)
