Kid Cossack, I hadn't noticed the asymmetry until you mentioned it, but i see what you mean; and it is rather cool. Perhaps it's because Wales is so far out on one side of Great Britain that the Welsh Tartan Centre decided to match their tartans to the geography....that's my theory and I am sticking to it.
