Moving to Tahlequah, OK

My wife grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma but has spent the last 10 years here in Pennsylvania. When I asked her where Tahlequah was and explained that I was just curious because someone on the forum was moving there, her reply was that she wouldn't wish living in Oklahoma on anyone. Good luck with your move.
I looked at home prices on our last visit to Lawton and was astounded at how cheap everything was. Hopefully it is the same on the other side of the state.

i wouldn't wish living in that section of oklahoma on anyone either. where i'll be going is a completely different kind of country. it's the foothills of the ozarks. having said that, i have to mention that if it's poisonous and lives in north america it probably lives in oklahoma. and the tornadoes...

all places have their good and bad points. the best point from my perspective is that i am from oklahoma. i love it there and it will be going home for me.
