Hey Y'all
Stumbled across this site while looking for kilt accessories. Lots of good information. Wore my kilt for the first time (in public,) last weekend at the Blairsville Games. Had a great time. Could use some help finding reasonably priced good quality kilt hose. Bought some through E-bay from the UK but was disappointed with the quality. So cheap, the postage is too much to send them back. Also, can anyone recommend a dry-cleaner in the north-Georgia / Atlanta area that one could trust with their kilt. Mine was given to me by 40 of my closest friends last year, would hate to have it ruined.
Thanks.

you might want to try Hamilton Dry Goods I do not own a pair yet I was going to order some today actually, but I know some who have them and I have never heard a bad thing about them, if you do a search here I am sure you will find quite a few good reviews.
Their website

Welcome from just up the interstate (I drive by Hoschton about every week or 2 to and from Atlanta).
(Actually it is also "over," as Clinton is at the intersection of I-385 and I-26 between Greenville/Spartanburg -one up each interstate- and Columbia.)
As for dry-cleaners, I'd ask Cavscout, as he lives RIGHT THERE- IN Hoschton (I'd assume you know him, but you may not).

Thanks, I look up Hamilton Dry Goods. I don't know if I know Cavscout or not. I have a neighbor who helps organize the Stone Mountain Games every year, so it might be him. I sent a PM but haven't gotten a response. Thanks to all for responding.

Welcome to the neighborhood KS
Sorry to say the neighbor is not me. I'm actually in Jefferson, just up the road from you. Make contact with the neighbor and we'll set up a kilt night at Paddy's (Best Chicken Wings in Town) one night.
I don't know of a good dry cleaner in these parts. I usually just do it myself (very carefully )
The Hamilton Dry Goods Kilt Hose are the best deal for everyday wear. We have several great advertisers here that sell excellent quality kilt hose for the more formal occasions (Freedom Kilts and The Scottish Tartans Museum).
Glad you found us
