(near Marine Corps Square and Front Gate)

Dang it, I'm never gonna get to meet you guys! I'll be at (and perhaps in) the Erinshire Folkfest in Abilene that night. (Abilene Pipers are one of the many groups playing.)

It looks like the band will be Silver Thistle out of Austin. I'm not in that band, though it would be one I'd like to try for. A bit too far to drive for practice now, though. Definitly worth getting over to listen to for anyone who likes pipe music or pipe bands.

I'll be in a piping and drumming workshop in Bedford all day Saturday, and there will be a Grade 1 invitational piping competition later that evening that I won't want to miss. If anyone wants information about that, let me know.
